Description

EVT Management Services is a food and beverage company providing concessions at Riverbend Music Center, PNC Pavilion, The Andrew J Brady Music Center and Taft Theatre.

VIP Club Server Position Summary: A professional, high-energy server with excellent communication skills to serve food & beverages to premium-seat clients in the full-service VIP restaurant.


The server will greet guests at tables, take their order, and provide an elevated dining experience through exceptional service. Servers will participate in preparing the restaurant before events and clean up after the event. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality and should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the restaurant menu.


Basic duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain a clean server station and restaurant area.
  • Communicate with support staff and kitchen staff to ensure orders are being properly processed.
  • Communicate with host/hostess to ensure guests are greeted and served in a timely manner.
  • Accurately maintain their checks and cash on hand to balance with point of sale (POS) system close out.
  • Fulfill guest orders/requests to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff towards the overall success of the event and the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to balance to expected close out.
  • Ensure a clean work area and restaurant.
  • Multitasking.
  • Perform in a loud, fast paced environment.
  • Lift and carry trays of food/beverages, twisting and standing/walking for long periods of time.
  • MUST be 21 years of age or older.

Available Shifts:

  • Start times vary based on the needs of event, but usually in the afternoon and/or evenings.
  • The duration of shifts varies upon the needs of the event, approximately 3 to 8 hours.
