Job description

The Vinyl Graphics Installer is responsible for professionally applying a variety of vinyl graphics including vehicle wraps, window decals, wall murals, and floor graphics. This role requires working both independently and within teams, with occasional travel to installation sites. Beyond installation, the installer will perform maintenance and repair to ensure the longevity and quality of the graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for vinyl application ensuring cleanliness and smoothness
  • Install vinyl graphics accurately on vehicles, windows, walls, and floors
  • Perform quality inspections to verify the integrity and appearance of installations
  • Maintain and repair installed graphics as needed
  • Measure and cut vinyl to precise dimensions
  • Apply adhesives and utilize application tools such as squeegees and heat guns
  • Adhere to safety protocols during all installation activities
  • Interact professionally with customers ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition
  • Clean installation sites post-project ensuring no debris remains

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic installation
  • Technical training in graphic installation or a related field
  • Valid driver's license for travel to installation sites
  • Proficiency in vinyl cutting and trimming techniques
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods
  • Skilled use of application tools including squeegees and heat guns
  • Exceptional attention to detail in application and finishing
  • Understanding of adhesive application principles
  • Effective time management skills
