Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft-Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for the position of PROJECT MANAGER to be located at the plant in St. Joe, IN. Compensation consists of base wage plus ROA.
  • Ability to build and establish strong relationships with customers
  • Utilize business acumen to make good decisions that are beneficial to both VIN and its customers
  • Possess a technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and other engineering documents
  • Identify and communicate potential problems or delays and offer cost-effective solutions
  • Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers
  • Work with the Project Management team to proactively manage the division's production schedule by balancing the needs of VIN and its customers
  • Exemplify a "project-ownership" attitude in all aspects of the job
  • Must be willing to and have the means to travel as needed.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 year total experience with construction management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One or more years of experience in the steel joist and deck industry
  • Project coordination or project management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business or related field
