Are you a great multi-tasker who flourishes in a fun fast-paced environment? Then the Little Vikings Learning Center needs you!
Lago Vista ISD is looking for a loving and qualified substitutes for our Little Vikings Learning Center. The Little Vikings Learning Center is an onsite childcare facility that provides Lago Vista ISD employees and the community with an affordable and timely childcare option. The hours of operation for Little Vikings are from 7:15am-4:45pm with a 1.5 hour break in the day. Our substitutes may be asked to serve in any of our classrooms (Infant, Toddler, Preschool). The daily substitute pay for Little Vikings is $120 per day.
Qualified applicants must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Become Child and Baby CPR Certified (Paid training will be provided to successful candidate if necessary).
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
  • Maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Participate in 24 hours of annual paid training.
  • Be able to meet all Texas Health & Human Services requirements for background checks and fingerprinting.
