This role is 100% remote, designed to offer you the flexibility to work from your own home while connecting with clients in a virtual setting. Our detox center focuses on creating a safe, healing space for clients at a critical juncture in their recovery process. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring that you can provide care effectively while advocating for the needs of your clients.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the unique needs of each client and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices. This foundational step will lead to more effective and tailored therapeutic approaches.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, empowering clients to develop coping strategies and resilience.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical records that adhere to HIPAA regulations, demonstrating your commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers to provide holistic care, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support throughout their recovery journey.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving service delivery and maintaining the highest quality of care.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, guiding them through understanding mental health issues, treatment prospects, and community support services.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients in a detox center who are facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in establishing trust and building strong therapeutic relationships that facilitate recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, showcasing your foundational knowledge and commitment to best practices in the field.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York, highlighting your professional competency and adherence to licensing standards.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, equipping you with the practical knowledge needed to effectively support a diverse clientele.
• Strong understanding of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and interventions, allowing you to deliver personalized and effective client care.
