Position Summary

The Service Videographer plays a key role in customer experience by creating personalized, on-camera video walkarounds of each customer's vehicle during service visits. This role combines technical inspection communication with on-camera presentation skills to help customers clearly understand recommended services and make informed decisions about their vehicle care.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Record individualized video walkarounds of customer vehicles while the vehicle is in for service, appearing on camera for each video. 
  •  Physically walk around the vehicle during filming to visually point out and explain technician-identified recommendations (e.g., brake wear, tire condition, fluid levels, filters). 
  •  Clearly and accurately communicate service recommendations using approved service terminology and company-provided scripts or talking points. 
  •  Learn and retain service department terminology ("lingo") well enough to speak about vehicle conditions naturally and credibly on camera. 
  •  Deliver videos in a warm, friendly, and approachable manner that builds customer trust and confidence in the Company's recommendations. 
  •  Edit and send completed videos to customers in a timely manner to support their service decision-making process. 
  •  Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure video content accurately reflects inspection findings and recommendations. 
  •  Maintain video and audio equipment in good working order and report any technical issues promptly. 
  •  Adhere to the Company's Professional Appearance and Dress Code Policy, including on-camera grooming standards outlined for the Videographer role. 
  •  Represent the Company's brand and customer service values in every video interaction.

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Comfortable and confident on camera; prior video, media, or on-air experience is a plus but not required.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and personable communication style with a natural ability to connect with customers through video. 
  • Willingness and ability to learn automotive service terminology and follow structured scripts/talking points. 
  • Basic technical aptitude for operating video/recording equipment (training provided). 
  • Strong verbal communication skills; able to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly way.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a video queue throughout the workday to keep pace with service volume.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with basic video editing software/apps.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk around vehicles repeatedly throughout the day, including in a service drive/shop environment. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions (shop bay, service drive, etc.).
  • Ability to speak clearly and confidently on camera for extended periods throughout the shift.

This is a customer-facing, on-camera role subject to the Company's Videographer / On-Camera Appearance Standards, including grooming, hair, and nail requirements consistent with professional broadcast presentation.
