Job description

Delta Solutions & Strategies is looking for a Communications Systems for Exercise and Training Events Support Team Member at Offutt Air Force Base. This position supports United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessment Directorate (J7) in the planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of strategic-level joint exercises and training events supporting strategic deterrence and global operations missions.

This position will provide communications systems and operational technical support expertise supporting joint exercises, collective training events, operational coordination, and strategic-level mission execution activities. This role supports the operation, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of secure and non-secure communications, audio/visual systems, video teleconferencing systems, and operational communications platforms supporting exercise and training environments.
What you'll be doing:
  • Support planning, coordination, execution, and technical operations for joint and strategic-level exercises and training events.
  • Provide operational and technical support for secure and non-secure communications systems, audio/visual systems, video teleconferencing platforms, and operational communications equipment.
  • Support operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications systems including Secure and Non-Secure VOIP, DRSN, ECC, AMX Video Display units, PLANAR Video Walls, JWICS, STEN, NPES, JIMDTS, and related operational systems.
  • Coordinate communications support activities with exercise planners, operational staffs, battle staffs, and mission partners.
  • Support operational communications integration during live, virtual, constructive, and simulated exercise events.
  • Assist with communications system configuration, operational testing, troubleshooting, and restoration activities.
  • Support communications operations within command centers, battle staffs, operations centers, and strategic-level operational environments.
  • Participate in exercise planning conferences, rehearsals, after-action reviews, and lessons learned activities.
  • Assist with maintaining operational readiness and continuity of communications systems supporting mission execution.
What you'll need:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience operating communications systems, audio/visual systems, video teleconferencing systems, or operational communications equipment supporting military or government operations.
  • Experience supporting secure and non-secure communications environments and operational communications systems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting command centers, operations centers, battle staffs, or strategic-level operational environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Airborne Command Post (ABNCP), National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), USSTRATCOM Global Operations Center (GOC), or similar operational missions preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
