Job description

Position Summary
The stadium production technician works to technically produce the video and animated graphic elements of the game-day video production show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium which includes Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United games/matches and various third-party events. The role will be responsible for prepping, operating, and striking all production gear pertaining to these events. The stadium production technician should have a good technical understanding of television/sports broadcasting.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Set-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment used for stadium video productions
  • Technicians would have individual or multiple knowledge of the following: Broadcast production quality HD cameras/shading stations, camera utility/grip support, Ross Acuity video switcher, Dreamcatcher video capture and replay, Chyron graphics (Paint, First & 10, LEDs)

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 2 or more years of experience in live sports broadcasting, stadium video board productions, or live television production
  • Must have a good technical knowledge of broadcast video/graphics with a skill set including:
    • Control Room experience/working well within a team environment
    • Ability to wrap video cables properly i.e. the over under method
    • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
    • Good organization skills
