Uses video systems and associated software to continuously observe all gaming and gaming-related areas for any deviations, abnormality or unusual activity as defined by law, Gaming regulation and in-house policies and procedures.
JOB FOCUS:
Focus is on, but not limited to the following:
- Makes detailed written reports or follow-up reports on incidents that occur on property.
- Works closely with Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies while conducting investigations.
- Works closely and all departments.
- Any and all job-related duties as directed by the Surveillance Lead Operator, Supervisors and or the Director of Surveillance.
- Responsible for continually monitoring the hotel and casino operations to ensure adherence to the state gaming regulations, in-house internal controls and company policies and procedures.
- Checks all surveillance equipment at the start of the shift to ensure these are in good working condition.
- Views the casino areas for identification of cheating activities, undesirables, pilferage and embezzlement.
- Maintains the daily logs.
- Assists Security in protecting the welfare of the employees and guests of the casino and hotel.
- Coordinates with local, state and federal law enforcement in the investigation of criminal activity which occurred on company property.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years of gaming surveillance experience including knowledge of most table games and procedures.
- Prior industry experience at a high-end luxury resort is preferred.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations such as Title 31.
- Knowledge of Surveillance-based computer software, iTRAK, AS/400, Table View, BJ Survey, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of Casino Table Games and surveillance camera systems.
- Knowledge of Gaming Minimum Internal Casino Standards, local jurisdictional gaming laws, and Nevada Revised Statutes.
- A valid Nevada Gaming license is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
