Job Description
You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering projects by ensuring timely and successful deliveries of software projects and collaboration with business leaders to ensure they align with the overarching business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development and delivery of products working along with a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define project requirements and deliverables
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the team adheres to best practices and efficient development methodologies, such as Agile.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
  • 4 years or more of experience in real time embedded software development.
  • 3 Years or more of experience in C/Ctt;, Assembly Programming Language
  • 3 years of more of experience and proficiency in Linux and embedded Linux development
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity, privacy, and data retention regulations (GDPR, NDAA, ONVIF standards).
WE VALUE
  • 6 or more years of experience in software engineering and agile execution.
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Expertise in driving the adoption of coding standards and identifying risks with mitigation solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Experience with video streaming protocols (RTSP, RTP, ONVIF, WebRTC, HLS).
  • Good knowledge of video codecs (H.264, H.265, MJPEG, AV1), streaming and compression standards: H.264, H.265/HEVC, MJPEG, AV1
  • protocols (RTSP, RTP, RTMP, HLS, DASH), and transport standards.
