What is a video review?

Video review jobs involve watching, analyzing, and providing feedback or assessments on video content. This can include reviewing videos for quality control, ensuring they meet specific guidelines, or evaluating them for content accuracy and appropriateness. Video reviewers may work for media companies, content platforms, or marketing agencies, and often need a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills. The role can also require familiarity with video editing tools and an understanding of copyright or community standards. Depending on the employer, video review jobs can be full-time, part-time, or freelance positions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a video reviewer?

To thrive as a Video Reviewer, you need a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with video content standards, often supported by experience in video production or content moderation. Excellent communication, impartial judgment, and time management are standout soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure accurate, efficient, and fair evaluation of video content, maintaining platform quality and compliance.

How does a video review specialist typically collaborate with other teams to ensure content compliance and quality?

As a Video Review specialist, you will frequently work alongside content moderation, legal, and policy teams to ensure that uploaded videos comply with community guidelines and legal requirements. Collaboration often involves regular meetings to discuss evolving standards, sharing feedback on ambiguous cases, and escalating complex content for further evaluation. Job description

About the Project

TSMG is looking for participants to support a large-scale Robotics AI video data collection project.

You will wear a lightweight head-mounted camera while completing simple everyday or work-related tasks. The camera will record your hands, the objects you use, and the surrounding work area. The videos will help artificial intelligence and robotics systems learn how people perform real-world activities.

What You Will Do
  • Complete simple tasks while wearing a provided camera.
  • Perform activities at a normal, natural pace.
  • Record at least 4 hours of video per scheduled project day.
  • Follow basic recording, safety, privacy, and equipment instructions.
  • Use an Android or iOS smartphone to connect to the camera when required.
  • Repeat a task when the recording does not meet quality requirements.

Tasks may take place in retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses, logistics facilities, offices, manufacturing sites, laboratories, healthcare environments, and other approved locations.

Requirements
  • Must be of legal working age in your country.
  • Must have an Android or iOS smartphone.
  • Must be available for at least 4 hours of recording per scheduled day.
  • Must be comfortable wearing a lightweight head-mounted camera.
  • Must be able to follow simple instructions.
  • Basic English is preferred.
  • Previous experience is not required but may be helpful.
  • Must follow privacy rules and avoid recording confidential information or unauthorized people.

Some tasks may involve walking, organizing objects, stocking shelves, sorting, packing, cleaning, or using basic tools. Lifting tasks will only be assigned to participants who are comfortable performing them.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
