JOB SUMMARY: 
The Project Manager's role is central planning and executing projects from start to finish; the goal is always “on time, on budget”. The project manager accomplishes this by interfacing with customers, trade partners, job site trades, fellow employees, and more.  
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with Sales and Design to ensure that any sold project is translated into a working solution that meets the customer’s needs; complete with full project documentation 
  • Work with the Operations Manager to schedule the appropriate resources to execute required work at the appropriate time 
  • Work with the installation department to provide thorough and detailed scopes of work 
  • Perform site visits and walk-throughs for job status, needs, and quality control 
  • Regularly review the financials of assigned projects, and work with the accounting department to ensure billing and collections are up-to-date and timely 
  • Ensure the product is correct and released for order at the appropriate time 
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: 
  • Work with the customer to recommend new solutions and/or products to customers as opportunities present themselves 
  • Participate in job installations as needed, especially to meet a deadline 
  • Perform final job quality control, customer hand-off demonstration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS amp; ABILITIES: 
  • Knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals, general construction practices 
  • Skills in Audio/Video design and application, A/V installation, customer service 
  • Ability to respond quickly to communications, both internally and externally, must be able to pivot between multiple projects at any given time 
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints  
  • Knowledge of the construction process, phases, and stakeholders 
  • Ability to work within a collaborative office environment  
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • Minimum High School Diploma 
  • General computer skills 
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Only applicants that have the required education and experience will be considered 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 
  • AV/Custom Integrator Experience 
  • General residential and commercial construction experience 
  • Project management certification, training, or experience 
  • Experience with CRM/PM software
