Job description

JOB.TITLE, OU.LOCATION, CUSTOM.STATE

Interfor is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our JOB.TITLE in OU.LOCATION, CUSTOM.STATE. The successful candidates will be reliable, committed, and eager to grow into various positions, including general labor, machine operator and forklift operator positions.  The starting rate for this position is 19.32 per hour with the potential to grow to 28.93 per hour based on skill level and experience.

What You'll Do

  • Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of regularly assigned area.
  • Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill by straightening lumber cross-ups using a pickaxe or chain saw, as necessary.
  • Develop skills across various machine centers and take on new responsibilities as you grow within the company.
  • Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the supervisor.

What You Offer

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.
  • Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
