It involves several stages including pre-production (planning, scripting, and organizing), production (filming and capturing footage), and post-production (editing, sound design, and finalizing the video). Professionals in video production work with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and editing software to produce high-quality visual projects. The field requires both technical skills and creative vision to effectively communicate messages and stories through video.

What are the qualifications to get a video production job?

The qualifications needed to work in a video production career vary. To pursue a career in production or post-production, you may choose to earn an associate degree in digital video production followed by a postsecondary certificate or degree in a specialty such as video editing, sound editing, or camera operation.
