Technical Production Associate

Christs Church

Jacksonville, FL

$13 - $16.50/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 12 days ago

Job description

At Christ’s Church, our Production Team creates engaging, distraction-free environments where people can encounter Jesus through worship, teaching, and ministry. We’re looking for a Technical Production Associate to bring excellence in audio, video, lighting, and live production across Christ’s Church and Christ’s Church Academy.

If you thrive behind the scenes, stay calm when the pressure is on, and believe great production serves a greater purpose — we’d love to meet you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of our centralized Production Team, you’ll support weekend worship services, ministry events, special productions, and academy programming. Your primary focus may shift with seasonal ministry priorities, so flexibility and a servant heart are essential. This full-time role is primarily scheduled Sunday through Thursday, with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as ministry schedules require.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Run audio, video, lighting, presentation, and production systems for weekend worship experiences
  • Handle programming, setup, rehearsals, execution, and teardown for services and events
  • Support special events — conferences, holidays, baptisms, memorial services, and gatherings
  • Provide production support for academy chapels, graduations, concerts, and events
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and disciple production volunteers
  • Assist with video production, livestreams, and creative projects
  • Maintain production equipment, software, lighting, and A/V infrastructure
  • Organize digital assets and media libraries, and stay current on production technology

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Hands-on experience with live production audio, video, and lighting
  • Working knowledge of tools such as ProPresenter, Adobe Premiere, Resolume Arena, Obsidian ONYX, Ableton Live, and Multitracks - or the ability to learn them quickly
  • Comfortable on both Windows and Mac, and with the Office 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Sound judgment and a calm presence under pressure during live events
  • Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • A self-starter who follows through with minimal supervision
  • Humble, teachable, professional, and team-oriented
  • A personal, growing relationship with Jesus and alignment with the mission of Christ's Church

**Experience with Planning Center Online and ROCK is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active, hands-on role. You should be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs independently (heavier with assistance); bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in confined backstage spaces; occasionally work from ladders or personnel lifts; and stand or walk for extended periods during services and events. Occasional travel between campuses and off-site ministry locations is required.
