Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, creative, and client-focused Video Project Coordinator to lead and manage our marketing video product line. This role will oversee video projects from initial concept through final delivery, working closely with clients, internal partners, and external production vendors.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and project coordinator who can develop compelling video concepts, write effective scripts, coordinate production resources, manage vendor costs, and oversee a high volume of projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the company's marketing video product line.
  • Collaborate with clients and business partners to understand their goals, target audiences, messaging, and creative vision.
  • Develop video concepts, creative briefs, treatments, and storyboards.
  • Write clear, engaging video scripts that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external video production vendors, including videographers, editors, voiceover artists, and other creative professionals.
  • Manage video vendor costs, negotiate pricing, and ensure projects remain within approved budgets.
  • Manage the production process from pre-production and filming through editing, revisions, and final delivery.
  • Review video footage and edits to ensure quality, accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with the approved creative direction.
  • Track and project manage a high volume of video projects simultaneously.
  • Establish project timelines, communicate deadlines, and provide regular updates to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage client feedback and revision requests while keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Develop project quotes and cost estimates based on production requirements, timelines, locations, talent, equipment, and editing needs.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, vendor costs, and production records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, vendor relationships, turnaround times, and overall product quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, film, media production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience managing video production, creative services, marketing, or multimedia projects.
  • Strong scriptwriting, storytelling, and creative-development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders at the same time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience working directly with clients and translating business objectives into creative concepts.
  • Ability to develop accurate project scopes, quotes, and production estimates.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, pricing, and production costs.
  • Familiarity with video production processes, including pre-production, filming, post-production, editing, and final delivery.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an agency, digital marketing, media, or client-services environment.
  • Experience managing external video production vendors and freelancers.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and production equipment.
  • Knowledge of video marketing strategies for websites, social media, paid advertising, and other digital platforms.
  • Experience developing scalable video products or production workflows.
