    ABOUT THE TEAM

    The Negotiator role will report into the Supervisor position and will be a part of the Local Video Investment Team. This team works collectively to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of and a pulse on the media landscape, make smart investments with media partners, negotiating mutually favorable terms, and plan and execute client media buys that best deliver on their business and marketing objectives.ย ย 

    Responsibilities

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories:

  • Developing Teams & Talent
    • Understand roles and responsibilities within the team.
    • Contribute to training of Sr Associates/Associates on their team and billing/reconciliation team individuals.
    • Reviews and supports goals of Sr./Associates.
  • Delivering on Our Value Proposition
    • Participate in meetings with partners.
    • Understands partner portfolio offerings and can identify client opportunities.
    • Participate in negotiations for assigned clients and campaigns.
    • Develop campaigns that partner with preferred partners.
    • Participate in negotiations to maximize profit.
    • Develop with support performance and delivery of select mid-level accounts.
  • Managing Business & Operations
    • Manage campaign activation; contribute to template and buy entry.
    • Leads RFP/post-sale process for select mid-level accounts and can serve as first touch QA for Associates.
    • Can execute process with some oversight and high degree of accuracy.
    • Participate in discrepancy resolution for assigned clients and campaigns.
    • Establish expectations through clear communication with client and vendor.
    • Contribute to data input across various tools.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, OX/Prisma, Salesforce, etc.
    • Keeps Salesforce up to date for assigned accounts.
    Qualifications

    TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that's great but we do need folks with basic level of understanding of how media investment works.

    • 2-5 years of experience with Basic knowledge of media is critical for success in this role
    • Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side
    • Linear buyer experience is required; CTV experience is preferred
    • Basic knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite
    • Excel proficiency is required
    • Strong media financial acumen is mandatory
    • Business financial acumen is preferred
    • Basic understanding of the media landscape

    ย Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $93,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
