In this role, you will be a part of our Corporate Marketing team based in Chicago, IL

EXP is seeking a Senior Video + Multimedia Manager to lead the vision, development and execution of our multimedia program - transforming how we tell stories across video, motion and digital platforms.
This is a player-coach role responsible for both hands-on video production support and building the systems, standards and strategy that enable high-quality, adaptable multimedia output across the firm.
This role operates at the intersection of creative direction, adaptable systems and business impact, partnering closely with the Creative Director to build a high-performing, future-ready multimedia function that supports brand, business development and firmwide communications.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Video production + creative execution
    • Lead video production process focusing heavily on post-production including concepting, scripting, storyboarding and filming as needed. 
    • Produce high-quality content such as: Interviews, short-form and social video series, motion graphics, animations and GIFs, event and conference video content
  • Multimedia strategy + systems development
    • Develop and maintain a corporate multimedia strategy and annual roadmap
    • Build scalable video and motion design systems, including standard workflows and templates for recurring content
    • Define EXP's motion brand identity, including animation style, typography, transitions and graphic elements
    • Establish production standards, file structures and naming conventions and governance workflows

  • Business development + marketing support
    • Partner with business development teams to create custom multimedia assets for proposals and pursuits
    • Support firmwide marketing initiatives with strategic video content
    • Identify opportunities where multimedia enhances client engagement and storytelling impact

  • Analytics + performance optimization
    • Track and report on multimedia performance across platforms
    • Establish KPIs for engagement and effectiveness
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve content performance and strategy
  • Asset + library management
    • Lead firmwide photography and video asset planning and capture
    • Maintain a centralized, organized multimedia library as part of our larger digital asset management system
    • Proactively identify gaps and coordinate asset creation or sourcing
  • Cross-functional collaboration 
    • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing, Corporate Communications and teams across EXP to align multimedia efforts with broader campaigns and business priorities
  • Mentorship + team development
    • Mentor and support junior designers 
    • Provide guidance on production techniques, storytelling and best practices
    • Contribute to future team structure and resourcing strategies 

  • Vendor + resource management as needed
    • Build and maintain a regional video production/vendor resource library for regions across North America

What your experience looks like

  • 10-15+ years of professional experience in video production, multimedia or motion design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality storytelling and production capabilities
  • Experience developing creative systems and templates
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video production tools including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. 

  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve and collaborative tools like Frame.io and Figma, a plus 
  • Strong understanding of brand standards and visual consistency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in A/E/C or professional services industry preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site production
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance creative workflows

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
