Description
Ford AV is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our newly installed AV systems through comprehensive testing and commissioning. In this dynamic role, you will travel both locally and internationally to verify that our commercial audio, video, and control systems meet the highest standards. If technical challenges arise, you'll be on the front lines troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure seamless system performance.

What You’ll Do

  • System Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough tests on sound, video, and control systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Field Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
  • Technical Verification: Verify connection labels, configure IP addressable devices, and complete detailed project close-outs.
  • Global Outreach: Travel to job sites locally and internationally to support installations, ensuring that every system meets Ford’s rigorous quality standards.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure a smooth handover of fully commissioned systems.
