Finishing Operator – 2nd shift (M-Th 3pm - 1:30am)

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented operator to run our label finishing equipment and help deliver high-quality printed labels and packaging in a manufacturing setting.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Set up and operate finishing equipment such as slitters, rewinders, die cutters, and inspection systems
  • Perform job changeovers, including loading materials, setting tensions, and adjusting machine settings
  • Complete start-up checklists and ensure jobs are run according to specifications
  • Inspect labels using a video monitor and visual inspection to ensure quality, color, and registration accuracy
  • Identify, flag, and document defective material and communicate issues to leadership
  • Monitor production speeds, minimize waste, and meet daily production targets
  • Accurately record label counts, downtime, and production data in logs or systems
  • Package finished product according to customer specifications
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S practices)
  • Communicate effectively with team members and the next shift regarding job status, issues, and priorities

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of machine operation experience (printing or manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math and ruler-reading ability
