Video Labelling information

What does a typical day look like for someone working in Video Labelling?

A typical day in Video Labelling involves reviewing video footage, identifying and annotating specific objects or events according to project guidelines, and entering this data into specialized software tools. Team members often collaborate with data scientists, engineers, or quality assurance leads to ensure accuracy and consistency in the annotations. Depending on the project and employer, you may work independently or as part of a larger team, sometimes with set quotas or deadlines. This work is crucial for developing and refining AI and machine learning models, making attention to detail and adherence to standards especially important. Over time, experienced video labelling professionals may progress to quality assurance roles or team leads overseeing larger annotation projects.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Video Labelling position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Video Labelling professional, you should have excellent attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and familiarity with visual content analysis. Knowledge of annotation platforms, video editing software, or AI training tools is often required, and experience with data labelling systems can be beneficial. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed guidelines are important soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure high-quality, consistent data annotation that directly supports machine learning and computer vision projects.

What jobs make $10,000 a month without a degree?

Video labeling jobs typically do not pay $10,000 a month without significant experience or high-volume work, as they are often entry-level and pay hourly or per task. High earnings in related fields like freelance video editing, content creation, or digital marketing may reach that level with specialized skills, a strong portfolio, and consistent work, but these are not solely based on job titles. Most roles requiring no degree tend to have lower average salaries, making $10,000 monthly uncommon without advanced skills or entrepreneurship.

What is a video labelling job?

A video labelling job involves reviewing and annotating video content to help train machine learning algorithms, such as for autonomous vehicles or content moderation. Workers typically use specialized tools to add labels, tags, or metadata to specific frames or segments, often working remotely with flexible schedules.

What jobs in the US pay 300,000 a year?

In the field of video labelling, high-paying roles typically do not reach $300,000 annually; such salaries are more common in executive, specialized technical, or management positions. Most video labelling jobs are entry-level or mid-tier roles with salaries significantly below that threshold. Advanced roles in related fields like AI development or data science may approach or exceed this level with experience and expertise.

What is a Video Labelling job?

A Video Labelling job involves annotating or tagging objects, actions, or events in video footage to train machine learning models. This process helps AI systems recognize and interpret visual data accurately. Tasks may include drawing bounding boxes, classifying scenes, or adding timestamps for specific events. Video labelling is commonly used in industries like autonomous driving, security surveillance, and content moderation.

Are video editors in high demand?

Video editors are in steady demand across industries such as media, advertising, and entertainment, especially with the growth of online content and digital marketing. Skills in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and the ability to adapt to new tools can enhance job prospects in this field.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 5 Days per week. Atlanta & Alpharetta, GA)

We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Job Summary:

The Audio Visual Engineer is the hands-on technical owner of GreenSkyโ€™s conference room, collaboration, and live-event audiovisual environment. This individual contributor sits onsite in Atlanta, serves as the primary "hands and eyes" for executive, town hall, and hybrid meetings, and partners closely with the Senior Manager, Audio Visual on room engineering, deployments, and continuous improvement. The role exists to keep meeting experiences reliable, professional, and consistent across every space โ€” from huddle rooms and standard conference rooms to the executive boardroom and large all-hands venues โ€” and to drive AV standards that scale as the company grows.

  • Provide hands-on, onsite engineering and support for conference rooms, executive areas, collaboration spaces, and live/hybrid events at the Atlanta campus.
  • Serve as the primary technical responder for executive meetings, town halls, board meetings, and business-critical events โ€” including proactive pre-meeting checks and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Configure, commission, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and other enterprise meeting platforms, including cameras, microphones, DSPs, codecs, displays, control systems, and room reservation panels.
  • Program, tune, and troubleshoot Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Shure, and Dante audio/video signal chains; lead root-cause analysis on recurring AV incidents and implement permanent fixes.
  • Lead AV deployments, room refreshes, and floor/office buildouts in partnership with Senior Management, Audio Visual, Facilities, Network Engineering, and Security โ€” including cabling, rack builds, switch coordination, firmware alignment, cutover, and acceptance testing.
  • Build and maintain AV documentation: room baselines, signal-flow diagrams, configuration templates, validation checklists, runbooks, and conference room plaques/labeling standards.
  • Coordinate AV LAN, VLAN, and switching requirements with Network Operations; ensure AV devices are properly addressed, segmented, and monitored.
  • Act as the escalation point for the Service Desk and offshore/remote IT teams on AV incidents; provide knowledge transfer, training, and one-pagers to reduce repeat tickets.
  • Manage AV inventory, spares, cabling, and lifecycle planning; recommend refresh and standardization priorities to the Senior Manager, Audio Visual.
  • Support live event setup, sound mixing, and tear-down for two major off-site All Hands events per year and smaller departmental events (stage audio, wireless microphones, mixers, lighting, streaming, recording, and post-event media handoff).
  • Partner with AV integrators and vendors on installs, warranty work, and SOW execution; verify deliverables against GreenSky standards.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise audio-visual and collaboration environments (corporate offices, conference centers, or similar).
  • 4+ years of hands-on troubleshooting across AV hardware and network-dependent systems โ€” audio DSPs, cameras, microphones, control systems, codecs, and displays.
  • 3+ years supporting executive-level and client-facing meetings with professionalism and urgency, including live/on-call support during high-visibility events.
  • 3+ years working in hybrid meeting environments supporting a mix of in-room and remote participants.
  • 2+ years balancing hands-on operational support with process improvement, documentation, and standards (SOPs, runbooks, room baselines).
  • Demonstrated ability to work fully onsite, 5 days per week, in Atlanta, GA, and to flex for early-morning, evening, or occasional weekend events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms in an enterprise environment (deployment, configuration, and admin).

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise AV signal flow, conferencing architectures, and room standards across audio, video, control, and display systems.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause skills across AV hardware, collaboration software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom), and network-dependent systems (DSPs, cameras, microphones, codecs, control processors).
  • Ability to design, standardize, and document repeatable processes โ€” runbooks, SOPs, room commissioning checklists, and signal-flow diagrams โ€” that improve reliability and supportability.
  • Comfortable supporting executive and client-facing meetings: calm, professional presence; discretion; and the ability to prioritize and respond quickly during high-visibility events.
  • Project execution skills for room upgrades, new buildouts, and technology refreshes, including scheduling, testing, and cutover support.
  • Solid networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, QoS, switching) and the ability to partner effectively with Network Engineering on AV LAN design.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to translate technical issues into business impact and produce concise status updates and after-action notes.
  • Self-directed and accountable โ€” operates well onsite with minimal oversight while partnering with remote and offshore IT functions
