Overview
The Director, National Video oversees the team's media buying/investment initiatives and will focus on servicing our client in the creation, execution, and monitoring of campaigns to secure the best investment options in a variety of channels to maximize reach to targeted consumers.
While providing thought leadership on campaign optimization, the Director builds strong relationships and establishes clear lines of communication with agency partners and the client services team.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the daily workflow of campaigns across the video eco-system (linear TV, FEP, OTT, Mobile, Connected TV, Addressable) as well as some Digital-Direct, including proposal development, campaign activation and maintenance, and post-buy recaps
  • Assume accountability and ownership of campaign execution for assigned client account
  • Review client deliverables for quality, ensuring that recommendations and work product are sound and viable
  • Own the development of strategic proposals, coordinating across teams to account for all relevant inputs
  • Oversee collaboration with strategy and planning teams to shape investment budgets and optimize channel allocations, ensuring strategic alignment and financial efficiency across planning cycles.
  • Understand and effectively communicate value proposition, technology, and processes related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
  • Develop processes to ensure data integrity and implement across the agency
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the systems used such as Mediaocean/Prisma or other digital buying tools,
  • Ad Servers/Verification, DSPs, Social Platforms, DMPs, and internal proprietary tools
  • Provide ideas and solutions for pain points/problems in processes; work alongside internal and external teams to develop procedures, enhancements, and tools to improve
  • Determine and activate how to deliver necessary data to teams for various reporting purposes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple internal teams and external teams
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure trust and confidence with our buying partners
  • Cultivate a team-focused mentality across the larger Investment team; Manage, train, and develop team

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of related media experience within the online video buying space
  • 4+ years of team management experience with progressing responsibilities
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with the following tools: MediaOcean, MBOX, Nielsen Net Rating, comScore,
  • AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester, etc.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Foundational experience in Programmatic Solutions(PMP) preferred; TradeDesk or DV360
  • Demonstrated leadership skills coupled with diplomacy (can work across and within multiple teams)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage matrixed teams and clients; confidence to lead brand clients whose focus is product marketing vs. Media' balancing competing priorities to manage projects successfully
  • Ability to successfully leverage marketplace relationships
  • Keep current on the pulse of changing marketplace conditions (audience, sales offerings, programming, etc.) and be able to make insightful recommendations to clients
  • Ability to adapt to change, nimbly manage challenges and make quick decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Compensation Range: $119,510 - $188,025 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
