POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate 1P Marketing Manager will work within the Digital Business department at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. to execute digital marketing strategies across First Party (1P) marketing channels to increase the revenue and profitability of our digital products. The primary job responsibilities involve successfully assisting the Digital Business team with various tasks and project management internally and externally, such as managing assets, tracking marketing beats, developing strategies for marketing on 1P channels, and coordinating with internal stakeholders as well as external partners. This teammate must be able to think creatively, implement processes, and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with our 1st party partners such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, and Sony digital platforms from either the operations or business side to support tactics designed to drive conversion to purchase. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, 1P Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and collaborate with internal marketing teams to execute digital marketing tactics that support the broader brand & 1P marketing strategy
  • Independently develop and execute plans to support product launches from the 1P and BNE marketing sides
  • Manage marketing beats calendars for upcoming products and execute activities on the 1P channel marketing calendar which includes copy creation and selection of assets
  • Gather marketing beats and create marketing calendars to share with 1P Partners to provide them with visibility into our activities to determine areas of support
  • Oversee the creation of marketing and advertising assets for console and Steam digital releases and deliver assets to 1P to support 1P distribution
  • Communicate 1P opportunity proposals to worldwide teams and see projects through from initial concept to final delivery
  • Execute creation via internal portals for marketing materials to support 1P marketing campaigns
  • Create decks for select marketing plans, post-mortems, and other reports to contribute to the greater marketing strategy across the company's portfolio
  • Provide support in managing digital editions on the corporate game product page
  • Provide input, analysis, and investigate issues that arise to effectively solve problems and improve processes and procedures
  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to execute plans to support product including pre-order and launch store product pages
  • Keeps up to date with social media and video game marketing trends to strengthen marketing strategies across all campaigns
  • Support 1P marketing team with projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in videogame marketing/operations or entertainment product marketing/operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong familiarity with digital marketplaces and setups of digital product launches from either the operations or business side
  • General knowledge and understanding of brand marketing, sales, and channel marketing within the video game industry
  • Strong and proactive team player who can work with internal and external partners effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to drive the business at large
  • 0-25% travel required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge or interest in videogaming, interactive entertainment industry and/or Japanese animation is a plus.
  • Experience working successfully with social media channels in executing social/community plans is a plus

SALARY RANGE

$75,000 - $85,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
