Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a Paid Social Specialist to temporarily support the Paid Media team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Activation, and help drive the planning, execution, and optimization of Blizzard's Paid Social campaigns during an upcoming period of increased campaign activity. The paid social channels will include Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and Snap.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a team player, and eager to deepen their expertise in paid advertising. If you have a passion for gaming and enjoy a high-growth, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply!

NOTE: This is an anticipated 6-month assignment. The candidate will ideally be based in Irvine.

This is a contingent worker position and will be staffed through Volt, a staffing and workforce management company.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside strategy, operations, and other activation team members to successfully plan, build, and launch upcoming paid campaigns across social platforms such as Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and Snap

  • Execute campaign trafficking, QA, and ad operations workflows with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness, including launching new assets and copy, generating screenshots, and QA'ing live links for adherence to safe zones

  • Work cross-functionally to brief, review, and launch new assets and copy

  • Leverage dashboards and other available reporting tools to monitor daily pacing and evaluate the performance of active campaigns

  • Make regular data-driven optimizations to improve performance against KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, efficient reach, views, and brand lift

  • Prepare and present weekly performance reporting, sharing performance trends, key insights, and strategic recommendations that drive measurable business impact

  • Uncover and pitch ongoing opportunities for testing and innovation

  • Own financial tracking across assigned campaigns and support accurate vendor billing and payments

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives shaping the future of media buying and activation

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent hands-on experience activating Paid Social performance campaigns required

  • Experience optimizing towards KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, efficient reach, views, and brand lift required

  • Ability to become productive quickly and contribute effectively in a contract-based role with defined project timelines and deliverables

  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; able to extract actionable insights from complex data sets and make clear strategic recommendations

  • Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset

  • Capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines

  • Comfortable owning and managing large budgets/investment levels

  • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend work during peak campaign periods

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $57,020.00 - $105,480.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
