Ce que vous ferez :

• Exécuter et mettre à jour des cas de test afin de vérifier la qualité du contenu localisé.

• Tester la qualité de traduction des produits/jeux, leur cohérence et l’exactitude linguistique selon les spécifications fournies.

• Signaler les bogues conformément aux exigences du projet et proposer des pistes de solution.

• Analyser les produits par le jeu et les tests afin de fournir des retours et recommandations d’amélioration.

• Acquérir des connaissances sur les méthodologies de test et le marché du jeu vidéo.

• Partager vos connaissances avec les autres membres de l’équipe de test.

• Assurer la pertinence culturelle pour le marché cible et valider la terminologie des consoles pour en garantir l’exactitude et la cohérence.

• Collaborer avec les chefs d’équipe de test et des testeurs internationaux afin d’assurer une couverture de test complète.

• Effectuer les tâches administratives assignées par le superviseur.

• Réaliser toute autre activité nécessaire au bon déroulement du travail selon les directives du superviseur.

• Respecter les procédures liées au poste.


Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous aurez :

• Une maîtrise de niveau natif d’une des langues suivantes et une excellente connaissance de sa culture : français (France), espagnol, espagnol (Mexique), italien, portugais (Brésil), allemand, chinois simplifié, coréen ou japonais.

• Compétences efficaces en communication en français et en anglais afin de transmettre clairement les résultats et les idées.

• L’anglais à l’oral de niveau débutant et écrit de niveau intermédiaire requis car la majorité des clients desservis sont localisé à l’extérieur du Québec. La langue source des tests et les consoles appartiennent aux clients. Les cas de tests doivent être envoyés dans la langue du client.

• Une passion pour les jeux vidéo et une bonne connaissance des différentes plateformes.

• Une expérience en assurance qualité, localisation de jeux, traduction ou révision (un atout).

• Un souci du détail marqué et la capacité de respecter les échéances.

• Une attitude flexible, proactive et orientée vers le travail d’équipe.

• La capacité d’apprendre rapidement de nouveaux outils.

• La capacité de travailler sous pression et de façon autonome avec un minimum de supervision.

• Une formation postsecondaire en langues ou en technologie (un atout).

Lionbridge Games is currently seeking native speakers of European French, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese!



What You Will Do:

  • Execute and update test cases to verify the quality of localized content.
  • Test product/game translation quality, consistency, and language correctness according to given specifications.
  • Report bugs in line with project requirements, providing constructive suggestions for solutions.
  • Analyze products through gameplay and testing to gain insights and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Acquire knowledge on testing methodologies and the video game market.
  • Share knowledge with other members of the testing team.
  • Ensure cultural correctness in the target market for your language and verify console terminology for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with test leads and international testers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Perform administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Perform other activities necessary for the proper conduct of work in accordance with the supervisor's instructions.
  • Observe procedures related to the job.



To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Native-level speaker of the following target languages and expert knowledge of their culture: European French, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English to convey findings and insights clearly.
  • Beginner level spoken English and intermediate level written English required as most clients are outside Quebec. The source language of the tests and consoles belong to clients. Test cases need to be sent in the client’s language.
  • Passion for video games and broad knowledge of video game platforms.
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Game Localization, Translation, or Proofreading is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, pro-active and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred higher education in languages or technology.
