POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Sales Analyst will lead digital promotion analysis of all digital platforms and provide insights to support strategic decision making for the Digital Business Team. Through the creation of insightful reports, effective presentation of digital sales performance and trends, and validation of sales experimentation outcomes this position will serve as a key resource for digital sales planning.
Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a strong understanding of 1st party storefronts and factors that drive visibility and performance improvements across various platforms.
  • Prepare discount forecasts of all active products on a regular basis and other promotional impact forecasts as needed.
  • Work closely with the digital price promotion calendar planning team to forecast revenue outcomes on a product-by-product basis
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analytics team to understand and apply video game market trends to forecasts and performance insights to refine projections and inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate and report on the long-term sales impact of specific subscription opportunities on individual product lifecycles.
  • Provide routine insights and performance reports of digital promotions or case studies carried out on all digital platforms.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on discount, pricing, editions bundle experimentations to optimize future lifecycle management.
  • Maintain understanding of wider market trends as well as products, brands, and franchises within BNEA's catalog to develop product and/or IP-specific strategies
  • Understand avenues of post-launch 1st party opportunities and provide input or analytical results to key stakeholders to assist in effective marketing and promotion initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant field of study
  • 3+ years' minimum video game industry experience in sales or analytics role
  • Experience assisting in the planning and execution of business strategies
  • Communicates well verbally and in writing
  • Computer proficiency, i.e. Outlook, Office, etc. required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross-departmentally to exceed team goals
  • Proactive approach
  • Passion and knowledge of video games a must

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a Japanese Company preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Bandai Namco's owned and licensed IPs

WORK ENVIRONMENT
In this position, the work environment will necessitate frequent periods of sitting and engaging in computer-related tasks. There will be occasional requirements to stand and/or walk, with infrequent circumstances requiring lifting, carrying, squatting, kneeling, bending, or climbing more than 50 pounds. Travel will be a requirement of the role, and will be up to 25% of the role for traveling to work related meetings and events.

SALARY RANGE
$77,000.00 - $85,000.00
Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
