We are looking for a Gameplay Programmer to help support our amazing horror IP, Dead By Daylight. At the heart of the Gameplay team, you will actively contribute to the creation, implementation, and optimization of the game mechanics that define the Dead by Daylight experience. Working closely with game designers, artists, animators, and QA, you will turn the creative vision into concrete, robust, and engaging features.
In this role you will:
  • Develop clear, maintainable, and well-documented code that drives engaging gameplay features. 
  • Debug and optimize code at both low and high levels to ensure peak performance and quality. 
  • Evaluate and communicate the potential impact of code changes to ensure smooth project progress. 
  • Actively participate in code reviews, sharing feedback to elevate overall code quality. 
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to design and implement core game features. 
  • Test new features rigorously and offer suggestions for improvements and refinements. 
What are we looking for :
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional programming experience, with a strong generalist gameplay skill set.
  • Experience with Unreal engine is a must.
  • Strong grasp of C++ programming and Blueprints.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives on solving complex technical challenges. 
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 
Dans ce role, vous devrez :
  • Developper du code clair, maintenable et bien documente afin de soutenir des fonctionnalites de gameplay engageantes;
  • Deboguer et optimiser le code, tant a bas qu'a haut niveau, pour assurer des performances et une qualite optimales;
  • Evaluer et communiquer l'impact potentiel des changements de code afin d'assurer une progression fluide du projet;
  • Participer activement aux revues de code et partager tes retours pour ameliorer la qualite globale du code;
  • Collaborer au sein d'une equipe multidisciplinaire pour concevoir et implementer les fonctionnalites cles du jeu;
  • Tester rigoureusement les nouvelles fonctionnalites et proposer des ameliorations et ajustements.
Ce que nous recherchons :
  • Un minimum de 5 ans d'experience professionnelle en programmation, avec un solide profil generaliste en gameplay;
  • Experience avec l'engin Unreal est un requis;
  • Excellente maitrise du C++ et des Blueprints;
  • Une personne proactive, passionnee par la resolution de defis techniques complexes;
  • Capacite d'adaptation et enthousiasme a evoluer dans un environnement rapide et en constante evolution;
