ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for a bold, passionate Video Editor to own our video presence and craft stylish, emotionally resonant content that captures the essence of our brand and community. You'll shape stories that inspire and help build our brand identity across a nationwide digital platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Craft emotional, high-impact short-form and long-form videos.
– Create brand campaigns, explainer videos, animated kids' content, and real-life family stories that feel authentic, cinematic, and powerful.
– Cut fast-paced, trend-aware social content that performs - while staying clean, positive, and family-friendly.
– Collaborate closely with our content, marketing, and product teams to concept, shoot, and deliver world-class pieces.
– Build motion graphics and effects that reinforce our brand guidelines.
– Utilize the latest AI image and video techniques to incorporate into each edit.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years professional video editing experience (brand, tech, or family-focused content preferred).
– Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve a plus.
– Use and ability to use HEYGEN nano banana 2.0 and generate AI video.
– Proficiency with Riverside for remote recording and multi-track audio/video capture.
– Exceptional storytelling instincts - knowing when to hit the heart, when to ramp up pace, and when to
let emotion breathe.
– Proven track record creating social-first content.
– Great ear for music, sound effects, and sound design. Musical ability a plus!
– Deep sensitivity to family audiences and child-safe content standards.
– Hands-on knowledge of the latest AI image and video techniques, including generative tools like DALL-E 3, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Flux for rapid asset creation; real-time editing with GPT-4o or Adobe Firefly; and advanced video models like Google Veo 3.1, Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, and Hailuo AI for seamless text-to-video generation, camera motion control, scene extension, and synchronized audio-visual effects.
– A portfolio that shows emotional resonance, rhythm, and the power to make people feel protected and inspired.
– Genuine passion for the mission: you believe the internet should be a safe, positive place for every kid.
