Job description

The Opportunity
The Senior Corporate Communications Specialist is a key contributor and trusted partner in shaping Ulteig's internal communications strategies, ensuring employees are informed and engaged, while strengthening the company's brand and reputation. This role requires creativity, adaptability, precision and strong editorial skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Core competencies include exceptional writing, editing and proofreading, as well as strong organization skills and the ability to leverage multiple communication channels effectively. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications, this position supports a wide range of initiatives across internal communications.
What You'll Do
Content Creation & Management
  • Partner with and advise key stakeholders to proactively identify and develop compelling, audience-focused content, maintaining Ulteig's corporate tone of voice, writing standards and brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Own and manage corporate intranet content to ensure accuracy and relevance; collaborate with stakeholders to align with internal communications goals and enhance employee engagement; monitor posts and respond to comments and questions promptly.

Editorial Calendar Ownership
  • Own and manage the Corporate Communications editorial calendar, providing thoughtful guidance on messaging priorities, cadence and channel selection across platforms to ensure consistency, alignment with business priorities and on-time delivery of content.

Internal Communications Support
  • Develop presentation content and support the delivery of quarterly town halls and company-wide meetings by coordinating execution activities, including materials preparation and logistics such as invitations, setup, and post-meeting follow-up.

Channel Innovation & Measurement
  • Contribute to the development of new communication channels (e.g., video, digital signage, newsletters), identifying new opportunities to expand reach and enhance employee engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness using department tools and technology to inform continuous improvement of internal strategies.

Special Projects
  • Additional duties may include tasks beyond what is listed, such as special projects, assisting colleagues, or new initiatives. A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and support team efforts enhances collaboration and growth opportunities.

What We Expect from You
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations or marketing communications.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging and actionable messages.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability and adaptability to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including advanced PowerPoint), SharePoint; working knowledge of AI-driven tools such as Copilot and other Large Language Models; familiarity with Adobe Suite, video editing platforms like Clipchamp, and basic HTML preferred.
  • Comfort with communications technology and willingness to learn emerging tools.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion and ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours for urgent communications needs.
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $91,000 - $110,000
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
