The Bristol Blues are a summer season collegiate baseball team. We are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball league, and play a 22 home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut. Since the organization's birth in 2015, we have achieved 3 championship appearances, 4 semi-final appearances and 1 quarter final appearance. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable night out for fans of all ages paired with high quality baseball.
This position is an internship - but you will receive a $250 stipend. We encourage you to utilize this opportunity to fulfill any college requirements. You are responsible for your housing. The opportunity is from the beginning of March 1st to the middle of August. It will be a remote position from February 15th to May 18th. Remote tasks will likely take 4-8 hours per week to complete. Responsibilities:
  • Further Develop and maintain the Bristol Blues brand through our X, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Provide mid-game updates to social media pages of important game information
  • Creation of game day graphics based on organization branding guidelines
  • Assist GM with creation of any marketing material graphics
  • Communicate important information from the organization to the public such as
    • Game changes/cancellations
    • Public relations events for players and staff
    • Upcoming Bristol Blues home games and promotional nights

Qualifications seeking and preferred:
  • Strong work ethic with a self starter attitude.
  • Experience with graphic design - preferably using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Must be able to work independently on projects.
  • Must be pursuing or hold a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members and community members.
  • Ability to attend all Bristol Blues home games.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Knowledge of Canva or Adobe platforms.
  • Knowledge of Google platform services such as Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
