Position Summary:
The Office of Admissions at Arkansas State University is seeking a creative, motivated, and dependable undergraduate student to support its marketing and recruitment efforts.
This position will assist with developing content for social media, email, web, print materials, events, and other communication channels. Applicants may have experience or interest in graphic design, photography, videography, social media, writing, or related creative areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with creating visual and written content for Admissions marketing and recruitment efforts
  • Develop content for social media, email, web, print materials, digital signage, events, and other communication channels
  • Capture and edit photos and videos that highlight campus events, student life, academic programs, and the A-State experience
  • Support the development of graphics, promotional materials, recruitment collateral, and event materials
  • Assist with brainstorming and planning content, campaigns, and creative projects
  • Help ensure content is accurate, engaging, and consistent with university brand standards
  • Organize and maintain creative files, photos, videos, and other content resources
  • Collaborate with Admissions staff, student workers, and campus partners
  • Assist with event coverage and other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong creative, communication, and organizational skills
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback
• Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with social media and digital content
• Experience with graphic design, photography, videography, video editing, writing, or content creation is preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar creative tools is preferred
General Days/Hours:
Monday through Friday
Hours will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. based on the student's class schedule and office needs.
Occasional evening or weekend availability may be requested for campus events.
Student workers may work up to 28 hours per week.

Portfolio Requirement
Applicants should provide three to five examples of relevant work. Examples may include social media content, graphic design, photography, video, writing, class projects, or other creative work.
