Job description

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a highly creative, digitally native Social Media Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas, people, and everyday moments into content people want to watch, share, and follow. This is not a role for someone who simply schedules posts or manages a content calendar. We want a hands-on creator who understands what performs on TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts. You should be confident capturing and editing high-quality video, mastering platform trends, and using analytics to drive real audience growth.

Job Specifics:

  • Compensation - Starting At $28 per hour (flexible for experience)
  • Position Type - 1099 Hourly Contractor
  • Location - North Metro Atlanta & Greater Atlanta Area (On-site + Local Travel)
  • Position Type - Part-Time (Approx. 15–20 hours/week)

Your Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Video Production - Develop, film, edit, and publish platform-native short-form and long-form video content for TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • On-Site Content Capture - Travel locally across Greater Atlanta to shoot at businesses, events, offices, and meetings.
  • Real-Time Storytelling - Turn real-world conversations and events into engaging social content, capitalizing on strong hooks, educational moments, and shareable clips in real time.
  • Advanced Editing - Edit high-performing video content with a sharp eye for pacing, cuts, captions, graphics, sound selection, and transitions.
  • Trend & Content Strategy - Identify trends early, develop original content concepts, write compelling hooks/captions, and repurpose core footage into multiple assets.
  • Analytics & Growth - Track key metrics (views, watch time, retention, CTR, shares) to refine content, test new formats, and build a repeatable organic growth engine.
  • Asset Management - Organize and manage a content library of raw footage and finished assets.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Proven Track Record - Professional experience creating social-first video content with a portfolio showing viral or unusually high organic reach.
  • Platform & Editing Mastery - Advanced video editing skills and deep functional knowledge of TikTok and YouTube/Shorts algorithms.
  • On-Camera Comfort - Ability to direct subjects and comfortably film people who may not be experienced on camera.
  • Data-Informed Creative - Experience using analytics to optimize hooks, pacing, and retention strategies.
  • Location & Mobility - Based in or near North Metro Atlanta with reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for shoots.
  • Ownership Mindset - Highly autonomous creator who can take an idea from initial concept all the way through the final edit.

Provided Examples:

  • In the interviewing process you may be required to provide any or all of the following:
  • Your best TikTok and YouTube / YouTube Shorts examples.
  • Video editing portfolio pieces.
  • 2–3 specific examples of content you created that went viral or substantially outperformed the account's average, including view counts and your specific role.
  • An example of how you used performance data or analytics to grow an account.
