Under general supervision, the CAM Operator utilizes CAM Genesis workstation, Customer Documentation and Process Traveler to inspect Manufacturing tools generated from customer's data files.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use Genesis cam system to inspect various aspects of PCB image including: all mechanical, electrical, solder mask and silkscreen layers
  • Inspect various aspects of PCB image, eg., line widths, pad sizes, date codes, etc. to comply with Engineering standards
  • Work closely to company procedures, checklist and critical timelines with emphasis on quality
  • Perform advanced CAM processing for multilayer, HDI, and complex PCB designs
  • Import, analyze, and validate customer data (Gerber, ODB++, drill, netlists)
  • Optimize penalization, tooling, rout programs, drill programs, and solder mask data
  • Identify and resolve DFM issues, providing clear feedback to engineering and customers
  • Support quick-turn and high-mix production environments with tight lead times
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Front End, Production, Quality, and Customer Service
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to CAM data throughout the production process
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and IPC requirements

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • 2 - 5 years of CAM experience in a PCB manufacturing environment
  • Expert knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and design rules
  • Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Genesis or In CAM)
  • Strong understanding of multilayer stackups, impedance control, and advanced PCB technologies
  • Ability to interpret complex customer drawings and specifications
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the extent necessary to perform the job

Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.
Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$63,609 - $106,016
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
