institutions.ย Collaborations are developed to provide prevention services for residents.ย ย
Job Description:
Reports to: Program Coordinator
FTE: Full Time (1.0)
Hours: 9:00 pm - 5:30 Monday thru Friday ย
The Victim Service Advocate will respond to violent incidents in the Englewood community.ย Responses could include visits to crime incidents, a victimโs home, hospital etc. Responses could be in-person or by phone depending on the circumstance. The Victim Service Advocate will be responsible for providing immediate support and advocacy for individuals or families impacted by violence.ย ย

Roles and Responsibilities:
โย ย ย ย Connect individuals and/or families to mental health services
โย ย ย ย Provide trauma-informed services for youth
โย ย ย ย Provide employment support
โย ย ย ย Support families in their interactions with police and/or receive case updates
โย ย ย ย Complete intake forms for participants to receive victim services
โย ย ย ย Accompany participants to court, where applicable
โย ย ย ย Help families plan funerals, where applicable
โย ย ย ย Help individuals/families navigate agencies/organizations to receive resources and services
