Vice President, Service Line Development

ProCo LLC ยท Service Line Development ยท Metro Atlanta, GA

Title: Vice President, Service Line Development

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Department: Strategic Growth / Service Line Development

Location: Marietta, GA

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

POSITION IMPACT

The Vice President of Service Line Development is responsible for the strategic development, launch, growth, and optimization of enterprise service lines that diversify revenue, expand market share, and strengthen ProCo's integrated healthcare ecosystem.

This executive serves as the enterprise architect for growth, partnering closely with operations, clinical leadership, finance, marketing, revenue cycle, and physician partners to identify and execute opportunities that create sustainable, long-term value.

Initially focused on Commercial Health Insurance expansion, Orthopedic Urgent Care development, and ATLAS Surgery Center growth, the role is intentionally designed to evolve alongside the organization as new service lines emerge.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. The right person is energized by taking a service line from concept to scale, comfortable owning enterprise growth strategy, and disciplined about handing off execution to operations once a line is built.

WHAT YOU'LL OWNGrowth Strategy & Execution
  • Build new revenue streams for the enterprise.
  • Diversify payer mix and expand patient access.
  • Increase downstream utilization across the care continuum.
  • Develop new service lines from concept through scale.
  • Own the service line lifecycle: Identify ? Design ? Launch ? Scale ? Optimize.
Service Line Development Experience
  • Commercial Health Insurance Expansion
  • Orthopedic Urgent Care Development
  • Surgery Center Growth
  • Internal Medicine
  • Functional Medicine
  • Occupational Health
  • Medicare Expansion
  • Ancillary Services
  • New Market Development
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with operations, clinical leadership, finance, marketing, revenue cycle, and physician partners on every initiative.
  • Operate within a clear ownership model: Operations owns execution. Service Line Development owns growth. Clinical leaders own outcomes.
  • Represent the growth function in enterprise leadership discussions and planning.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 10+ years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of multi-site or service line leadership.
  • Demonstrated success launching new healthcare services.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred

  • MBA, MHA, or MPH.
  • FACHE, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
  • Experience building a service line function inside a multi-site or multi-entity healthcare organization.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role is the right fit if you...

  • Can turn an ambiguous growth idea into a scalable, operational business model.
  • Move comfortably between enterprise strategy and the operational detail needed to launch a service line.
  • Build trust and alignment across operations, clinical, finance, and physician stakeholders who don't report to you.
  • Are energized by the Identify ? Design ? Launch ? Scale ? Optimize cycle, and know when to hand a line off to operations.
  • Take ownership of enterprise growth outcomes, not just the plans behind them.

This role is not the right fit if you want to run day-to-day clinical or site operations โ€” that ownership sits with operations and clinical leadership. This position owns the growth strategy and the launch; it is not an execution or maintenance role.

REWARDS
  • Compensation commensurate with experience [confirm range].
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
  • PTO and paid holidays.
  • Direct access to executive leadership and ownership of ProCo's enterprise growth agenda.
  • The opportunity to build new service lines from the ground up and shape what the organization becomes.
