Job Type: Full-Time

Classification: Vice President (VP)

Department: Systems & Reports / Core Banking Operations

The VP, Systems & Reports Analyst serves as a resource for departments across the organization, assisting with the effective use of core systems and the generation of custom reports needed to support business operations. This role also serves as a backup to the Core Systems Manager and helps manage, maintain, and optimize core business systems to ensure efficient operations.

The position assists with system configuration, issue resolution, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance system performance and security. Effective project management and communication skills are essential. The role requires developing strategies and implementing processes that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes. This position requires the ability to work independently in an office environment with minimal supervision.

Ensures compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Department Support

Assists department leaders throughout the organization with the following activities as needed:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency by better utilizing core systems.
  • Generating custom reports that provide decision-makers with actionable information.
  • Providing technical support to employees using core systems.
  • Training employees on the use of core systems as needed.
  • Supporting departments with additional core system-related needs.
Project and Systems Management
  • Translate requests from business units and technical teams across the organization into actionable project plans by gathering requirements and coordinating resources.
  • Create and maintain project documentation using a structured and organized approach.
  • Assist and serve as backup to the Core Systems Manager by:
  • Configuring and customizing core systems to meet business and regulatory requirements while improving user adoption.
  • Serving as a liaison with system vendors regarding support requests, system changes, updates, and configuration validation.
  • Performing and documenting periodic audits to ensure user access accuracy and compliance with change management requirements.
  • Working directly with auditors and examiners to provide system validation documentation and information regarding security controls.
  • Collaborating with external vendors and internal teams to integrate third-party applications and services with core systems.
  • Providing resolutions to complex technical system issues.
  • Participating in system upgrades, migrations, and new implementation projects, including thorough testing and validation.
  • Ensuring comprehensive testing of upgrades and implementations within available test environments.
  • Troubleshooting system issues that may impact customers or business operations and working toward timely resolution.
Professional Development and Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in ongoing training, user groups, professional communities, and other learning opportunities to stay informed of platform enhancements, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Participate in company-sponsored volunteer and community engagement activities as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Project Management certification or education (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of analyst experience working with core business or enterprise systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a strong background in systems administration and business management disciplines.
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining custom reports.
  • Ability to analyze unique and complex problems and develop effective solutions collaboratively.
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Knowledge of system security protocols and industry best practices.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of operational processes, system functionality, and system integrations.
  • Experience with MS Project or other project management tools.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work scheduled hours.
