Job description

The Vice President of Operations is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for leading manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operational performance across 3form's multi-site manufacturing operations. This role drives strategic initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. 

The VP oversees custom architectural fabrication, resin panel manufacturing, glass production, and architectural lighting operations, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capabilities, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth and profitability.
  • Lead manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, driving productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee supply chain, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and HR to support new products, customer satisfaction, and operational scalability.
  • Manage operational budgets, capital investments, and key performance metrics.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams while driving accountability and organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including 7–10 years leading multi-site operations.
  • Experience in custom manufacturing, architectural products, building materials, glass, engineered materials, or related industries.
  • Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and operational expertise.

Travel: Regular travel to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, customers, and project sites throughout the United States is required.
