Position Summary
ProcessBarron is seeking an experienced AI Leader to lead the development of our next generation of AI-powered business applications.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that improve business processes across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Technology, the AI Leader will work closely with business users, consultants, software vendors, and technology partners to transform business ideas into scalable software solutions.

The AI Leader is expected to remain actively involved in software development, solution architecture, system integration, and AI implementation while serving as the company's technical leader for AI initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead by building.
What You'll Do
AI Strategy & Technical Leadership
•    Partner with the Vice President of Technology to help shape and execute ProcessBarron's AI roadmap.
•    Identify high-value AI opportunities that support company growth, operational excellence, and customer experience.
•    Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
•    Help establish AI development standards, governance, and best practices.
AI Solution Development
•    Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered business applications.
•    Build AI assistants, workflows, automation solutions, and knowledge management tools.
•    Develop AI agents and RAG solutions.
•    Prototype new ideas and iterate based on feedback.
Software Engineering
•    Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications.
•    Build APIs, integrations, and custom applications.
•    Maintain existing internally developed software.
•    Write clean, maintainable production-quality code.
•    Use AI development tools while validating all generated code.
Business Transformation
•    Improve engineering, project management, manufacturing, supply chain, field service, customer service, reporting, and automation through AI.
Engineering & Industrial Innovation
•    Collaborate with engineering teams on AI for design, diagnostics, simulation, predictive analytics, and customer solutions.
Enterprise Integration & Technology
•    Integrate with Epicor Kinetic, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, SQL Server, Azure, and other enterprise platforms.
•    Work with consultants and vendors.
•    Ensure security, governance, and data quality.
Partner with the Business
•    Meet with end users, gather requirements, demonstrate solutions, provide training, and build relationships.
Organizational Adoption
•    Promote responsible AI adoption, education, and continuous improvement.
