Job description

Securis is a fast-growing, mission-driven IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) company built on a foundation of integrity, innovation, and service. Guided by Christian values, we are committed to serving our employees, clients, and partners with the same honesty, accountability, and compassion that Jesus modeled for His people.

Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and deeply motivated by both high performance and meaningful purpose. We believe in doing things the right way, with transparency, continuous improvement, and a relentless focus on excellence.

As we scale toward our goal of $25 million in revenue by 2030, Securis is investing in building a best-in-class, fully integrated ITAD and recycling operation. Our recycling division plays a critical role in maximizing asset value, driving material recovery, and supporting our broader circular economy strategy.

Securis is primed for transformational growth and seeking leaders who are ready to build, scale, and innovate. Joining Securis means becoming part of a company where your impact is visible, your voice is heard, and your work directly contributes to both our growth and our mission.

Our Core Focus and Values: At Securis, our Core Focus is to serve employees, clients, and vendors like Jesus served His People. Our Core Values guide our work, our culture, and our success:

  • Helps First: Put the team first.
  • Fun: Have the right attitude and stay positive.
  • Hungry: Have big goals and want to conquer the world.
  • Humbly Confident: Be humble and also be confident.
  • Work-Life Harmony: Both are important and must be in balance.
  • Coachable: Always learning.
  • Innovative: Question everything. Look for new ways.
Position Summary

The Executive Vice President of Recycling is the visionary and operational leader responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing Securis’ recycling division into a high-performing, revenue-generating engine. This role owns the full lifecycle of recycling operations, transforming what is traditionally viewed as a cost center into a strategic driver of profitability and sustainability.

Today, Securis processes approximately 500,000 pounds of electronic scrap monthly, with a goal to increase volume by 20–30% over the next 24 months. Recent investments in advanced shredding capabilities create immediate opportunities to expand throughput, enhance material recovery, and scale recycling services.

We are seeking a high-energy builder and operator who combines deep expertise in industrial engineering and supply chain logistics with a visionary approach to sustainable manufacturing. This leader brings a relentless focus on operational excellence, material recovery optimization, and continuous improvement, along with the ability to scale systems, teams, and performance in a rapidly growing environment.

An ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in downstream recycling ecosystems, including audit practices, commodity recovery, and backend processing systems. This expertise enables them to drive immediate impact, strengthen downstream accountability, and maximize value recovery from day one.

What You Will Do Ownership and Scale
  • Build and execute a bold vision for Securis’ recycling division aligned with aggressive growth goals
  • Own P&L performance, driving revenue expansion, cost optimization, and margin improvement
  • Identify and unlock new revenue streams across commodity recovery, resale channels, and process innovation
  • Build the operational infrastructure required to scale a high-volume, high-throughput recycling operation
Operational Excellence
  • Design and implement best-in-class processes for sorting, disassembly, and material recovery
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase speed, efficiency, and output
  • Establish and exceed KPIs across recovery rates, throughput, and operational performance
  • Evaluate and deploy technologies (automation, AI-driven sorting, material tracking) to improve yield and accuracy
Value Recovery
  • Maximize recovery value across all commodity streams through disciplined process design and execution
  • Build and optimize downstream partner relationships (smelters, refiners, processors) to improve pricing, yield, and accountability
  • Establish and enforce downstream audit practices, ensuring transparency, compliance, and verification of recovery outcomes
  • Develop standardized methodologies for measuring recovery and reconciling internal data with downstream processor assays
  • Identify and eliminate value leakage across the recycling lifecycle
Operational Infrastructure
  • Design and implement backend systems that support accurate tracking of material intake, processing, yield, and financial recovery
  • Evaluate current system limitations and implement solutions that support a high-volume (“mega-shredding”) operation
  • Build data visibility that enables real-time decision-making and operational accountability
Leadership and Alignment
  • Build and lead a high-performing, accountable recycling operations team
  • Instill a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
  • Partner closely with EVP of ITAD, EVP of Service, and executive leadership to align operations across the business
Integrity and Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and data security standards (R2v3, NAID AAA, ISO, etc.)
  • Maintain rigorous chain-of-custody and downstream accountability standards
  • Build a closed-loop, ethical recycling ecosystem grounded in transparency and trust
  • Position Securis as a leader in responsible, high-integrity IT asset disposition
What We Are Looking For Required
  • 7+ years of senior leadership experience in recycling, industrial operations, manufacturing, or related environments (e.g., automotive, electronics, aerospace, or military)
  • Proven success owning P&L and delivering strong financial performance
  • Deep understanding of material recovery processes, commodities markets, and operational workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations and improve efficiency in complex environments
  • Strong track record building and leading high-performing teams
Preferred
  • Experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, or adjacent industries
  • Knowledge of R2v3, e-Stewards, NAID AAA, ISO, and related standards
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA a plus)
You’re a Strong Fit if You:
  • Are a builder who thrives on creating structure, scaling operations, and driving measurable results
  • Lead from the front, but comfortable on the floor and in the data
  • Bring both strategic thinking and execution intensity
  • Hold a high bar for accountability, transparency, and integrity
  • Are motivated by building something meaningful, both financially and environmentally
