Delek US Holdings is seeking a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel to serve as the number-two legal executive and a trusted advisor to our Executive Vice President, General Counsel. This is a high-impact, enterprise-wide leadership role for a seasoned attorney ready to shape strategy across one of the nation's most dynamic integrated energy, refining, and logistics companies.

About the Role

As VP, Assistant General Counsel, you will lead a critical sub-function within our Legal organization, managing a broad and sophisticated portfolio that directly influences the performance of Delek US and Delek Logistics. You'll operate at the intersection of business and law—advising executive leadership, mitigating enterprise risk, and building a high-performing legal team.

What You'll Do

  • Corporate Governance & Securities — Advise executive management and the Board on risk mitigation, compliance policy, and securities matters.
  • Compliance & Ethics - Support the Company's compliance and ethics program, advise on regulatory requirements, corporate governance, investigations, and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.
  • Insurance & Risk Management — Oversee the Company's insurance portfolio, claims strategy, and risk financing programs while partnering across the enterprise to mitigate operational and financial risk.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions — Lead the legal strategy and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-closing integration.
  • Enterprise Leadership — Set the strategy for your area of responsibility, contribute to enterprise-wide functional strategy, and lead and develop a team of legal professionals and people leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership — Collaborate with HR, Finance, Internal Audit, Operations, and business leaders to advance legal, compliance, insurance, and enterprise risk objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active State Bar membership (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of combined in-house and/or law firm experience
  • 7+ years of management experience, including managing people leaders, with progressive management responsibility
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance, M&A, commercial transactions, compliance, insurance and risk management, litigation, and enterprise legal strategy
  • Energy, refining, midstream/logistics, or related industry experience strongly preferred
