Job description

Role: VP of Strategic Capture Management

Reporting to the SVP, Growth Operations, the Vice President of Strategic Capture Management (SCM) serves as the focal point of designing and executing the consolidated capture campaigns focused on strategic program pursuits. The VP SCM collaborates with ASRC Federal Senior leaders to support the campaign designs and prioritizes capture aspects in order to position ASRC Federal in the designated markets. This includes building hiring plans, capture prioritization plans as well as providing leadership and mentorship to Capture Managers (CMs) aligned to strategic program pursuits. This leader emphasizes successful capture execution for strategic program opportunities and is also responsible for leading captures directly in a player/coach model. The VP SCM drives increased opportunities to win through instilling consistent customer engagement, creative capture solutioning, strategic pricing, and capture-process discipline across the strategic pursuits.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates directly with the ASRC Federal leadership.
  • Drives customer outreach, engagement, and shaping strategies that focus on ASRC Federal strengths.
  • Supervises the development and execution of teaming strategies for strategic opportunities, driving maximum contract value for ASRC Federal.
  • Develops prioritized list of related service providers to drive performance driven partnerships that result in increased Pwin and preferred pricing.
  • Coordinates with BD VP(s) and Operating Group leadership to prioritize opportunities in the strategic pipeline and aligns capture resources to support those priorities.
  • Coordinates with VP Proposal Operations to align proposal resources to strategic captures.
  • Ensures CMs are executing captures in compliance with ASRC Federal’s A-GAME Growth Lifecycle Process with a focus on continuously increasing Pwins.
  • Ensures CMs develop accurate Bid and Proposal budgets, aligned to growth budget allocations, and manages to those budgets.
  • Ensures CMs update all required reports and databases, such as ASRC Federal’s CRM, to maintain accurate opportunity information.
  • Coordinates with the CTO and Solution Architects to identify technical innovations that provide value to customers and drive those solutions to develop differentiated approaches that increase win probabilities.
  • Ensures CMs comply with all ASRC Federal training and administrative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and win very large (>$2B) MA IDIQ contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, execute, and win single award/task order contracts with values of more than $500M.
  • Experience effectively managing a team of capture managers (5-10) with individual single award pursuit sizes over $500M.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years successful Capture Management experience in federal contracting with an emphasis on large pursuits.
  • Minimum 5 years managing a team of senior capture executives
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry networks.
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
