Vice President Retail Operations Jobs in Colorado

The Senior Vice President of Retail Excellence & Execution will lead Danone's end-to-end Retail Execution & Excellence organization, connecting commercial strategy to flawless in-store execution. This role serves as the executive leader for Retail Execution and Excellence across the U.S., with accountability for direct and agency retail execution resources, the strategy-to-shelf model, execution performance across targeted markets and retailers, operating model transformation, capability building, and execution culture. The SVP will serve as the primary leadership link between customer teams, execution teams, category teams, and commercial leadership. 

Leadership & Team Development 

• Lead the Retail Execution and Retail Excellence organizations, including large direct and agency field teams. 

• Establish clear performance expectations, decision rights, operating routines, and an accountability culture. 

• Build a high-performing national execution organization, grow leaders, and develop leadership pipeline and succession plans. 

Retail Execution Strategy 

• Establish and execute Danone's Retail Execution vision and multi-year roadmap. 

• Build and lead the national strategy-to-shelf model across priority markets, retailers, and channels. 

• Prioritize resources and investment toward the highest-return markets, retailers, stores, and customer opportunities, with a focus on key market areas. 

Commercial Integration 

• Create one national Retail Execution agenda that aligns Category, Customer and Field teams, Revenue Growth Management, Analytics, Finance, Commercial Leadership, and Agency Partners around Danone's highest-value growth opportunities. 

• Ensure customer strategies translate into clear store-level action. 

• Drive closed-loop communication between customer teams and field teams to connect strategy, field realities, investment choices, and measurable results. 

Business Performance 

• Own end-to-end execution outcomes, including market share, distribution, on-shelf availability, display performance, promotional compliance, productivity, and execution return on investment. 

• Establish scorecards, routines, investment choices, and execution return measures tied to business outcomes. 

• Deliver scalable growth through execution-focused investments and disciplined performance management. 

Operating Model Transformation 

• Lead organization redesign, capability building, technology enablement, and change management at scale. 

• Simplify a complex national execution model into clear priorities, decision rights, operating routines, and market-level focus areas. 

• Drive execution innovation while strengthening the operating model, execution culture, and national field effectiveness. 

About You 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred. 

• 15+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods, retail execution, or sales leadership roles. 

• Executive leadership experience with large national field organizations, including direct and agency resources. 

• Proven experience leading transformation, organization redesign, capability building, and change management at scale. 

• Demonstrated success improving market share through execution excellence. 

• Deep understanding of retailer operations and customer selling models. 

• Strong financial, operational, strategic, and cross-functional leadership capability. 

The salary range for this position is $360,000 - $400,000 USD.
