Position Summary

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the organization’s enterprise IT capabilities, including infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of IT and Supply Chain, this role ensures the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable technology services across all locations.

This position plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s technology environment by establishing enterprise standards for governance, systems architecture, and cybersecurity. The Director is also accountable for driving digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics, to enhance operational performance, resilience, and decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise IT Operations
  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise IT operations, ensuring consistent, reliable technology services across all sites
  • Oversee infrastructure, systems administration, applications, and end-user support functions

Cybersecurity and Risk Management
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity program aligned with industry standards and evolving threats

  • Direct incident response, crisis management, and recovery activities in coordination with executive leadership and external partners
Technology Strategy and Innovation

  • Lead the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics
  • Drive organizational change management initiatives related to digital transformation
Systems, Infrastructure, and ERP Governance
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud platforms and end-user systems
  • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise business systems, including ERP platforms
  • Lead ERP optimization, integration, and consolidation initiatives to maximize business value, particularly within manufacturing and supply chain functions

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and security requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT environments
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary IT teams across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity functions
  • Prior experience in complex, multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
Cybersecurity Leadership
  • One or more of the following certifications required: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading enterprise cybersecurity programs, including implementation of recognized frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls)
  • Proven ability to lead incident response and cyber crisis management efforts
Technical and Systems Expertise
  • Experience with enterprise Microsoft environments, including Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, and security architecture preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with Epicor experience preferred
  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and financial system integration
