Job description

The District Manager will ensure successful profitability and performance for multiple locations in assigned territory. This leader will have the opportunity to enhance existing Site Leadership while developing and building a talent bench critical to the Company's growth strategy. As District Manager, this leader will thrive in fast-paced environment and has hands-on entrepreneurial style that can easily create the tactics needed to support Ultimate Shine Car Wash's strategic outcomes.
Operations Management
  • Administer and oversee budgets for each location and overall Market.
  • Ensure labor targets are successfully achieved weekly.
  • Accountable for Sales, Operations, and P&L for Market
  • Oversee all Market projects, including staff and client relations.
  • Enforce standards and regulations for all sites, staff, and contractors in the Market.
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company's operations.
  • Implement processes and systems that will generate higher productivity, revenue, and profit.
  • Hire, train, and develop Site Managers and build succession plans for the roles.
  • Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company's operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
  • Develop a culture of exceptional customer service, ownership, and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned

People Management
  • Works with HR and VP to recruit and hire. Ensures that new Site Managers and Manager in Trainings are fully on-boarded and trained on company policy and procedure, as well as operational functions and efficiencies
  • Handles employee conflicts through listening and applying a fair and consistent approach in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Works with HR in relation to disciplinary action of employees and termination
  • Performs performance evaluations in a timely, fact-based and fair manner. Ensures all employees receive regular performance feedback.
  • Creates team and individual sales and operational competitions to assist employees in achieving personal performance and financial goals

Customer Service
  • Builds brand loyalty by establishing a trusting relationship with customers by meeting their expectations and acting with integrity.
  • Proficiently and professionally handles all escalated customer complaints

Facility Maintenance
  • Oversee Maintenance of location's facility including - cleanliness, equipment maintenance/repair, chemical care, quality of wash service, etc. Manages vendor relationships.
  • Ensures the proper safety and operational training to new associates and on an on-going basis to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees and enforces proper usage of PPE, and maintains an inventory
  • Oversees and enforces the uniform policy/process

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in multi-unit management preferably in service industry
