Forbes Advisor is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Paid Social Lead to join the Performance Marketing Team to lead a team of Campaign Managers across multiple verticals, including Health, Insurance, and Financial Services.
This is a role for those who enjoy team leadership, solving complex marketing challenges and delivering profit-at-scale across a diverse book of business.
Reporting to the VP - Social and Native, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with creative, publishing, product, digital experience and data team to lead successful and profitable Paid Social campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Paid Social campaign management and a proven track record in developing best in class social marketing campaigns along with strong leadership skills is essential to be successful in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for building out and defining strategy for growing our social ad buys, while also building out a high performing team of marketers.
The successful candidate must be comfortable in a 'start-up' environment, have a great attitude to problem solving, be a self-starter and have excellent team management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for achieving the performance targets of Paid Social within the Social and Native Department
  • Define and execute Paid Social marketing strategy roadmap across all verticals.
  • Build a high performing Paid Social team to deliver on strict revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead the team to deploy and optimize ad campaigns across paid social platforms, including Meta, TikTok and other opportunities as they arise.
  • Work with various stakeholders across global offices to align with business goals.
  • Discover and surface additional product/services via competitor research that show signs of being promising business opportunities within the paid social affiliate space.
  • Lead with best performance marketing practices, and continuously improve marketing opportunities across the verticals.
  • Design workflows and guides to consistently upskill and improve the Paid Social team.
  • Build excellent working relationships with our affiliate partners.
  • Work with internal teams to help guide tracking, reporting and automation requirements.
  • Work with the Digital Experience team to improve landing page experience and conversion rate via A/B testing.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates on strategy roadmap to the Leadership Team.
  • Responsible for hiring, training and development and performance management of team
  • Conduct performance reviews and work with direct reports on career development.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the performance marketing landscape, including platform updates, trends, and emerging tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of experience of performance marketing on Paid Social platforms.
  • Experience in line management and leading a team of Paid Social buyers
  • Overall fluency in using ad serving technologies, platforms, and tools.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, able to generate actionable insights from data analysis that translate into valuable marketing decisions.
  • Team player with all-hands-on-deck attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Experience in Affiliate Marketing and/or LeadGen.
  • Ability to build out and lead a high performing team.
  • Forward thinking, always looking to improve existing activity and identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to co-ordinate with internal teams and external platforms
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, or Airtable is a plus
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of the Health, Insurance, or Financial Services verticals is a strong advantage
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones and adapt to changing priorities.
