At Purchasing Power, you'll have the opportunity to directly shape digital products that improve financial access and everyday life for millions of people. In this role, you'll own meaningful platforms, influence strategic decisions, and partner across the business to deliver customer-centric solutions. If you're motivated by impact, autonomy, and translating ideas into real outcomes, this role puts you at the center of it.
WE ARE: A collaborative, mission-driven organization focused on creating simple and responsible financial solutions. A team that values ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Committed to delivering high-quality digital experiences that drive both customer value and business results. Focused on innovation, including thoughtful adoption of AI and automation where it enhances outcomes
YOU ARE: A strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution. Comfortable operating across multiple platforms and managing competing priorities. An effective communicator who can translate between technical and business audiences. Proactive in identifying opportunities, not just responding to requests. A trusted partner to stakeholders, with the ability to influence at Director and VP levels
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction across multiple platforms
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of platform releases and develop recommendations for stakeholders and leadership
  • Define and track KPIs, including revenue impact, customer experience, operational efficiency, and adoption
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively engage to understand evolving business needs
  • Deliver executive-ready updates, insights, and roadmap presentations on a regular cadence
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and business needs into actionable product requirements
  • Partner closely with engineering teams, Scrum Masters, and delivery partners to ensure alignment and successful execution
  • Lead product demos, stakeholder reviews, and feature walkthroughs
  • Manage and prioritize multiple product backlogs, making clear, strategic prioritization decisions
  • Create high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities
  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and continuously refine product direction
  • Stay informed on emerging features, competitive trends, and best practices

YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience with ownership of complex platforms
  • Experience managing multiple product areas simultaneously while maintaining strategic focus
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management and sprint execution
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience evaluating product releases and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, including Director and VP-level audiences
  • Experience working in environments where AI and automation are actively used; able to evaluate and adopt evolving tools to improve outcomes and ways of working.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated initiative in researching and recommending platform features or improvements independently.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

WE OFFER
  • Hybrid work model (onsite/offsite)
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life/AD&D insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Career development opportunities
  • Employee Purchase Program
