Position Overview

The Vice President, Marketing & Sales Development – Americas (“the VP”) is a strategic, enterprise-level leader responsible for designing and executing a best-in-class recruitment and training strategy across all business units in the Americas. The position will build scalable recruiting infrastructure, elevate the employer brand, and ensure the organization attracts, selects, and retains top-tier talent aligned with the company’s growth strategy and performance culture. This role requires frequent travel within the U.S. and abroad and is based at MVW Headquarters in Orlando or a suitable alternate MVW location. The VP reports to the SVP Marketing & Sales Development – Americas.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and address hiring needs.
  • Manage a team of recruiters and provide assistance as needed.
  • Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates.
  • Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs.
  • Organize recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand.
  • Develop and execute a forward‑looking recruitment and talent development strategy aligned with business growth targets across the Americas and the APEME region.
  • Design recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates.
  • Partner with executive leadership to forecast workforce needs, especially within high‑volume sales and marketing environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on talent market trends, workforce planning, and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee large‑scale recruiting operations for marketing and sales roles in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment.
  • Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures.
  • Implement best practices for candidate sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding to improve speed‑to‑hire and quality‑of‑hire.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence across all recruitment channels and locations.
  • Oversee and improve the overall candidate experience.
  • Participate in the department’s strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement.
  • Partner with the M&S Development team to align onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Enhance and differentiate the employer brand across the Americas.
  • Champion a best‑in‑class candidate experience reflecting the company’s values and culture.
  • Leverage digital platforms, social media, and recruitment marketing to attract top talent.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive decision‑making, track KPIs (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, quality‑of‑hire, retention), and optimize performance.
  • Lead the adoption and optimization of recruiting technologies (ATS, CRM, AI sourcing tools).
  • Build dashboards and reporting dashboards.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing team of Talent Acquisition leaders, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, accountability standards, and career development pathways within the TA function.
  • Drive a culture of urgency, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop operating plans and workable business processes for the department in alignment with function strategy.
  • Manage larger business processes and/or projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on progress and results.
  • Respond to, solve, and make decisions on business requests that impact the department and carry moderate risk.
  • Present alternative solutions to business issues by leveraging broader organizational resources.
  • Enhance organizational capabilities through effective staffing and development by anticipating staffing requirements and comparing business needs with existing staff strengths and weaknesses.

Candidate ProfileEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
  • MSc in Human Resources or a related field in recruitment and development is an advantage.
Experience
  • Proven work experience as a VP of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development or a similar senior‑level HR, Marketing or Sales position.
  • Minimum 15 years of recruitment and/or development experience, preferably within the timeshare industry, including at least 5 years in a management role leading successful teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing, and evaluation.
  • Experience managing recruitment and/or development programs for multinational organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Candidate Management Systems and/or Human Resources software.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
