Job Description:
The Vice President (VP) of Product Marketing at Nextpower is a critical role to drive the success of our integrated solutions platform and the constituent products and services. This position requires a strategic and innovative leader who can develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to effectively position our product portfolio, create and communicate impactful value propositions and support our global sales team.
The VP of Product Marketing will manage a team of product marketing specialists and will work closely with the Marketing, sales enablement, competitive intelligence and market analysis teams to develop and deliver best-in-class content that articulates, elevates and differentiates Nextpower's offers and associated customer benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies and plans to enhance sales readiness and product adoption, drive revenue growth, and increase market share. Influence and integrate product roadmaps and translate to well-aligned launch priorities.
• Team Leadership: Lead and oversee a global team of product marketing specialists across all product lines serving the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Middle East, India and Africa, and Australia-Pacific.
• Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling and distinctive unique selling propositions, product messaging, and positioning that resonates with stakeholders from Engineering, Procurement and Construction companies (EPC's) to IPP developer / operator / owners, utilities, and data centers, effectively conveying the value and benefits of our products. Develop buyer personas for each stakeholder to align value propositions.
• Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver product marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, product videos, and other tactics to educate customers along the sales funnel.
• Product Launches: Working with the Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams, coordinate product launches and relevant supporting material including launch plans, sales training materials, and content appropriate to specific channels, customers, and market segments.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment and effective execution of key product marketing initiatives.
• Market Intelligence: Leverage in-depth market research and analysis to identify solar EPC/ developer/ owner needs, market trends and competitive insights. Utilize this information to shape regional product positioning and messaging.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze market and competitive trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform product roadmap and pricing strategies.
• Content creator: Working with the marketing team to conceive and execute integrated marketing campaigns that generate demand and elevate brand awareness.
• Performance Tracking: Track and analyze key performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives from technical bulletins, white papers to product-focused ABM campaigns, offering data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Proven track record in the solar or energy industry of driving revenue growth and customer acquisition through effective product marketing strategies.
• Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and product development processes for hardware, software, and tools used in utility scale solar deployment.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, and industry conferences in the US and internationally.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand and articulate complex business and technical concepts.
Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $310,000-$330,000. This role is also eligible for bonus and equity as part of the total compensation package.
