Job Description

QGC seeks a Vice President, Marketing, who is a visionary and results-driven leader to build and lead a high-performing internal marketing organization that strengthens our People.Forward. culture, elevates our brand, develops people, creates scalable marketing operations, and equips QGC for its next chapter of growth. The VP, Marketing will provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to a growing marketing team while serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on brand positioning, communications, storytelling, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate combines executive-level strategic thinking with operational excellence, possessing the ability to align marketing initiatives with business objectives while building scalable processes, inspiring creative excellence, and delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Stewardship

  • Serve as the guardian of the QGC brand and ensure consistency across all companies, platforms, communications, and experiences.
  • Guide brand architecture, positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen QGC’s reputation, employer brand, thought leadership, and market influence.
  • Ensure brand integrity across all internal and external communications.

Communications & Executive Positioning

  • Provide strategic oversight of executive communications, corporate messaging, public relations, and thought leadership programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop key narratives, presentations, speaking engagements, and major announcements.
  • Guide crisis communication planning and reputation management efforts.
  • Ensure alignment between corporate objectives and communication strategies.

Internal Communications & Culture

  • Develop and lead the company’s internal communications strategy.
  • Partner with executive leadership to communicate vision, priorities, and organizational updates.
  • Strengthen employee engagement through meaningful storytelling.
  • Support onboarding, recognition, company meetings, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Ensure employees consistently experience the QGC brand from the inside out.
  • Oversee content planning, social media strategy, digital campaigns, website management, and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Drive development of integrated campaigns that support recruiting, company initiatives, and community engagement.
  • Establish content strategies that strengthen visibility and engagement across all channels.
  • Utilize analytics and performance data to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and creative direction for all design, video, multimedia, photography, animation, and visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Ensure creative assets effectively support business objectives while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Lead development of innovative multimedia content that enhances engagement and storytelling.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends to continually enhance marketing capabilities.
  • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team consisting of designers, videographers, content creators and communication professionals.
  • Establish clear priorities, expectations, workflows, and accountability measures.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support professional development and succession planning within the department.

Operational Excellence & Vendor Management

  • Develop scalable marketing processes and project management systems that improve efficiency and execution.
  • Oversee agency, vendor, consultant, and production partner relationships.
  • Manage departmental budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience with at least 5 years leading teams.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies.
  • Experience managing brand development, digital marketing, content strategy, public relations, and creative functions.
  • Strong understanding of social media, website strategy, analytics, marketing technology, and content management platforms.
  • Experience supporting executive leaders and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and modern marketing platforms and tools.
