About the Team & Business Line:

The Data Analytics team within Citco Institutional Services Line of Business delivers advanced investment reporting, performance measurement, portfolio analytics, exposure monitoring, liquidity forecasting, and custom data solutions to some of the world's most sophisticated institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, family offices, endowments, and asset managers.

About You:

Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in investment analytics, performance measurement, portfolio reporting, investment operations, data management, or institutional client service.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting sophisticated institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, OCIOs, or large family offices.
  • Proven experience presenting complex analytical concepts and investment outcomes to senior stakeholders, investment committees, boards, and executive leadership teams.
  • Previous experience leading teams and managing distributed operations across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Experience participating in client onboarding, business development, RFPs, and new solution implementations is highly desirable.

Technical & Investment Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in:ย 
    • Time-weighted and money-weighted performance methodologies
    • Modified Dietz calculations
    • Performance attribution (Brinson and factor-based)
    • Private markets analytics including IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, and PME
    • Risk analytics, scenario analysis, and stress testing
    • Benchmark construction and performance measurement frameworks
  • Experience with institutional analytics and reporting platforms such as Solovis, Addepar, FactSet, Bloomberg, BarraOne, MSCI Barra, or equivalent solutions.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with multiple data formats including XML, CSV, and API-based integrations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA, and data analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of GIPS standards and institutional benchmarking methodologies is an advantage.

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is considered an asset.
  • CFA, CAIA, CIPM, FRM, or similar professional designation completed or in progress is strongly preferred.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President, Data Analytics to lead the development and delivery of investment analytics and reporting solutions for a diverse institutional client base. This role will partner closely with pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and large family offices to deliver actionable insights across complex multi-asset portfolios, enhancing investment oversight and decision-making.


This leadership position combines investment analytics expertise, client relationship management, business development, and team leadership. The successful candidate will oversee the design, production, and presentation of performance, exposure, liquidity, and risk analytics while collaborating with clients, internal stakeholders, and technology teams to advance and expand Citco's analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analytics & Reporting
ย 

  • Oversee the production of performance reporting, attribution analysis, exposure reporting, liquidity modelling, commitment pacing, and cash flow forecasting for multi-asset investment portfolios.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of customized investment analytics frameworks across public and private market portfolios.
  • Deliver advanced analytics including:ย 
    • Time-weighted and money-weighted returns
    • Performance attribution analysis
    • IRR and private markets performance metrics
    • Value-at-Risk (VaR)
    • Scenario analysis and stress testing
    • Multi-factor risk analytics and benchmarking
  • Utilize institutional analytics platforms and reporting tools such as Solovis to aggregate, visualize, and monitor portfolio performance, manager effectiveness, commitment pacing, liquidity profiles, and investment exposures.
  • Lead data analysis, mapping, sourcing, integration, and reconciliation initiatives to support advanced client reporting requirements.
  • Oversee daily and periodic validation of investment accounting data, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment between accounting records and reporting platforms for hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, mutual funds, and other alternative investments.
  • Work closely with operations teams to help coordinate collection and maintenance of investment metadata, manager information, fund terms, and portfolio company information required for reporting and analytics.
  • Own and continuously enhance the investment data pipeline from Citco's fund accounting systems, ensuring robust data governance, data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and dashboard maintenance.


Client Service & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a senior relationship manager and trusted advisor for institutional clients such as pensions, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for performance measurement, exposure analytics, liquidity forecasting, and portfolio reporting.
  • Support portfolio analytics discussions, board materials, investment committee presentation related data requests, and other executive reporting.
  • Partner closely with Client Service, Fund Accounting, Reporting, Technology, and Product teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Resolve reporting, accounting, and data reconciliation exceptions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal business lines to identify and integrate additional data sources supporting enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

  • Support RFPs, client proposals, onboarding initiatives, and business development efforts as the analytics subject matter expert.
